Vestas secured turbine orders totalling 593MW in Canada, France, Italy and Brazil as the third quarter of 2021 came to a close.
The Danish manufacturer booked a 297MW deal in Canada consisting of a mix of 45 V150-4.5MW machines and 22 V150-4.2MW units delivered in 4.3MW operating mode
Delivery will begin in the third quarter of 2022 with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023.
The customer and project are undisclosed.
In France, Vestas received a 65MW contract for the Les Moulins du Lohan wind farm from Boralex.
The deal includes the supply and installation of 17 V126-3.8MW turbines.
Delivery is planned by the second quarter of 2022 and commissioning is scheduled the first quarter of 2023.
In Brazil, Vestas has signed a new agreement with Casa dos Ventos for a 189MW wind farm in Rio Grande do Norte.
The order is for 42 V150-4.25MW machines.
Delivery is planned for the fourth quarter of 2023 and first quarter of 2024, with commissioning scheduled for the second quarter of 2024.
A 42MW order for the repowering of the Monreale Partinico wind farm was received from ERG Wind Energy.
The contract includes the supply and installation of 10 V136-4.2MW units, that will replace the site’s current 19 V52-850 kW turbines.
Delivery is planned for the third quarter of 2022, whilst commissioning is expected for the last quarter of the the same year.
